Glorex Candle Sand with Wick – Making Candles Without Pouring

Glorex candle sand is a sand-like wax that lets you make your own candles without melting or pouring wax. A candle wick is included in the 70 g bag, so all you need is a heatproof container.

Fill the container with the sand, insert the wick and light it. This makes candles for decorations, celebrations and DIY projects, for example in glasses, bowls or lanterns. Choose your colour from the options.

Making your candle

Positioning the wick is the only step that needs care: it should stand upright in the centre as you fill. When burning, the sand melts around the wick and the melted wax is hot. Stand the container on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
