Glorex Silicone Mould – Cast 11 Buttons Yourself

With the Glorex silicone mould you can cast your own buttons. The mould has 11 cavities in different sizes from approx. 1 to 2.5 cm, so one pour gives you several matching buttons for sewing projects, clothing or decorations. It is suitable for casting resin.

The silicone is soft and flexible. This means you can simply push the hardened buttons out of the cavities without damaging the mould. The mould can be used again and again.

Casting buttons

Place the mould on a flat, level surface so that the backs of the buttons come out even. Mix the casting resin according to the manufacturer's instructions and fill the cavities evenly up to the rim. Let the resin cure completely before you flex the mould and push the buttons out. As the cavities differ in size, each one needs a different amount of resin. It is better to fill gradually than to mix up too much.
