Knorr Prandell Animals cushion cover to paint, 40 x 40 cm, white

Knorr Prandell Animals cushion cover – white cotton cover to paint yourself

The Animals cushion cover from Knorr Prandell is a white cotton cover to paint with fabric pens. The animal motif is pre-printed in black outlines, so you only need to colour it in and you get a personalised cushion for the sofa or a child's room.

The cover measures 40 × 40 cm and is made of 100 % cotton, 140 g/m². This smooth, firm cotton fabric takes paint well. The zip makes it easy to put on the cushion and to take it off for washing.

How to paint the cushion cover

Before you start, slip a piece of card or a sheet of plastic inside the cover so that the colour does not bleed through to the back and the fabric lies flat. Then colour in one area at a time within the black outlines, and let each colour dry a little before you paint next to it. This stops the colours running into each other. Do a quick test on the inside of a corner first to see how your pens look on the fabric.

Care after painting

The unpainted cover is washable at 30 °C. How the colour behaves after painting, and whether it needs to be fixed, depends on the pen. Please follow the pen manufacturer's instructions before you wash the cover.
