Rayher 925 silver ear hooks – 20 mm for making your own earrings

The Rayher ear hooks (art. no. 2227700) are fish hooks in 925 silver for homemade earrings. The bag contains 2 pieces, so one pair. At 20 mm they are a classic size. You can attach rings, eye pins with beads, feathers or other jewellery elements to the small loop.

A clasp or stopper is not included. The silver adds a precious-metal component to your earrings, even if the rest of the earrings is made from beads or charms in another material.

Making drop earrings

Thread a bead onto an eye pin, form a loop at the end and hang it from the loop of the ear hook. If you connect rings to the hook, open them sideways with two pairs of pliers by twisting the ends in opposite directions. If you pull them apart outwards, they lose their shape and no longer close properly. Make sure you fit both earrings in the same way, so that the pair hangs symmetrically.
