Metal discs for magnets – so magnets also hold on wood, glass and paper
These thin metal discs are the counterpart for magnets: you stick them onto materials that do not attract magnets themselves, and the magnet then holds at that spot. Aluminium, copper, wood and paper are not magnetic, but with a disc as a base it works all the same.
At just 0.3 mm thick, the discs are barely noticeable. That is useful if you want to make craft projects, cards or decorative items magnetic without the discs adding bulk. The pack contains 20 pieces, each 15 mm in diameter.
How to attach the discs
The discs are stuck on, so choose an adhesive that suits both the disc and the surface. The surface should be clean, dry and free of grease, otherwise the discs will easily come loose later. Lay the disc down over its whole surface and press it on briefly. Wait until the adhesive has set before placing the magnet. On cards, wooden decorations or glass, you can also fix the disc to the back so that it cannot be seen from the front.
