VIVAK clear sheet – easily formed plastic sheet for model making and crafts

The VIVAK sheet is a highly transparent plastic sheet measuring 250 × 500 mm (0.125 m²). You can use it for model making, craft projects and any work where you want to heat plastic and shape it. Choose the thickness from the options.

Vivak is an extruded co-polyester (PET-G). The sheet is halogen-free and recyclable. The protective film peels off easily. Only remove it when you start working on the sheet, so the surface stays clean until then.

Shaping the sheet

The sheet can be formed at between 120 °C and 160 °C with a hot air gun or in the oven. Heat it evenly and keep the hot air gun moving so that no area overheats. Then lay it over your mould and leave it to cool there until it keeps its new shape. The sheet is hot during forming: wear heat-resistant gloves. If the temperature is too high or the hot air gun is held too close, the sheet will be over-formed in places. It is best to do a test on an offcut first.
