PappArt oval cardboard box, brown kraft board blank, EFCO

PappArt oval cardboard box – kraft board blank to decorate and paint

The PappArt oval cardboard box from EFCO is a blank made from brown kraft board, which you can cover or paint with acrylic paint as you like. It makes small storage boxes for jewellery, craft bits and pieces or little gifts, entirely in your own style.

The box comes in several sizes. Choose the size you need from the options.

Decorating the box

Brown kraft board is absorbent and takes acrylic paint well. Apply the paint in thin layers and let each layer dry before applying the next. The board warps less this way than if you soak it with very wet paint. Light colours often only cover well on the brown base with a second coat. Paper or napkins with a suitable craft glue work well for covering. On the curved side wall, it is best to stick paper on in narrow strips, so that it lies flat without creases.
