Folia XL Matchbox-Style Boxes, White, Pack of 12

Folia XL Matchbox-Style Boxes – 12 White Blank Boxes to Decorate

The XL matchbox-style boxes from Folia (art. no. 2407) are empty, unprinted blank boxes made of white card. You get 12 boxes, each measuring approx. 11 × 6 × 2 cm. They have no striking surfaces and no contents, as they are meant only for crafting: for painting, writing on, sticking things onto and decorating.

The boxes are well suited to small gifts and homemade advent calendars. For a calendar with 24 doors, you need two packs.

Decorating the boxes

The white card surface takes paint, pens and paper well. Do not apply paint too wet, as thin card can otherwise warp. You can cover the boxes with coloured paper, washi tape or patterned paper without using paint. For an advent calendar, stick on numbers, stack or line up the boxes and fill them with flat little items such as sweets, pieces of jewellery or a folded note. The box is only approx. 2 cm high, so keep the filling flat.
