FACON Pipe Cleaners / Chenille Stems Ø 14 mm, Multicoloured, 50 cm, Pack of 100

FACON Chenille Stems Ø 14 mm – thick pipe cleaners for figures and decorations

FACON chenille stems (pipe cleaners) are bendable craft wire with a soft, fluffy covering made of synthetic fabric. A sturdy wire core holds the shape, and the thick covering of Ø 14 mm makes every piece especially bulky. You get 100 pieces in assorted colours, each wire approx. 50 cm long.

The chenille wire suits animals, figures, flowers and decorations. Thanks to the thickness, even simple shapes look chunky, and the soft surface feels pleasant in the hand. It is suitable for craft projects at home, at school and as a hobby.

Working with thick chenille stems

You can bend the wire by hand into arms, legs, petals or spirals. To join two pieces, twist the ends tightly around each other. Pieces you want to shorten can be cut off with side cutters. The cut end will then have sharp wire ends: bend them over or press them into the fabric so that nothing sticks out. For larger figures, twist several wires together to form a sturdy body.
