Rayher tapered corks 27 × 30/26 mm, pack of 4

Rayher tapered corks 27 × 30/26 mm – for sealing and crafting

Rayher tapered corks seal small bottles, flasks and test tubes, and can also be used for crafting, for example to make a cork animal. According to Rayher, cork is a natural product. The bag contains 4 corks that taper towards the bottom: they measure 30 mm at the top and 26 mm at the bottom, and the height is 27 mm.

The conical shape helps when sealing: the cork sits firmly when the opening lies between its lower and upper diameters.

Will the cork fit your bottle?

Before buying, measure the inside width of the bottle opening. It should be between 26 and 30 mm so that the cork goes in a little way and sits firmly. If the opening is much narrower or wider, choose a different cork from the range. The tapered corks are available in other sizes.

Making cork animals and decorations

Cork can be cut with a craft knife, smoothed with sandpaper and joined with craft glue or hot glue. If you paint cork, apply the paint thinly so that the texture remains visible.
