STABILO Pen 68 felt-tip pens, set of 10 basic colours

STABILO Pen 68 – 10 felt-tip pens in 10 colours in a card wallet

The STABILO Pen 68 set of 10 contains ten felt-tip pens in basic colours in a card wallet. You can use them for drawing and colouring, for example mandalas, illustrations or hand lettering. The tip is robust and gives a line width of 1 mm. According to STABILO, it delivers colour evenly. The ink is odourless and water-based.

The set contains light blue, ultramarine blue, orange, light green, emerald green, yellow, brown, black, carmine red and dark red. With two shades each of blue, green and red, you can build up designs in light and dark tones. According to STABILO, the pens can be left uncapped for up to 24 hours without drying out. That helps when you change colour and the cap is not to hand. While you work, push the ventilated cap onto the end of the pen.

Working with the Pen 68

The 1 mm tip draws fine outlines and lettering. Fill areas with even strokes placed close together. Do not go over the same spot several times, as thinner papers can soften. Because the ink is water-based, you can blur fresh areas of colour with a slightly dampened brush to create soft transitions. Slightly thicker paper works best for this.

Good to know before you buy

According to STABILO, the Pen 68 has the following properties:

• not washable: protect clothing and your work surface while you work
• not waterproof: artwork remains vulnerable when wet
• not erasable
• not refillable
