PRYM Trouser Hem Protector Tape in Dark Grey – Protecting the Inner Hem Edge

You sew the PRYM trouser hem protector tape in dark grey onto the trouser hem to protect the inner hem edge. This edge takes a lot of wear, especially on men's trousers. According to Prym, the tape is sturdy yet soft and follows the shape of the hem. It is suitable for all fabrics and also covers untidy seams.

The card contains 1.25 m of tape, 17 mm wide. You can use it when shortening or repairing trousers and in new sewing projects.

Attaching the tape

First measure the hem circumference of your trousers and allow extra for the seam ends and overlap. Then sew the tape onto the inner hem edge. Choose a colour to match the trouser fabric: dark grey is barely noticeable on grey, charcoal or dark fabrics. Prym also offers the tape in beige, navy and black.
