Canson Figueras Pad – Canvas-Textured Painting Paper for Oil and Acrylic

The Canson Figueras pad contains 10 sheets measuring 33 × 41 cm and is made for oil and acrylic painting as well as oil pastels. The paper is uncoated and has a natural, canvas-like texture. You paint as if on canvas, but on a paper that is easy to transport.

A barrier in the paper ensures that oil paints, binders and water are absorbed evenly. This gives impasto colour effects without staining. The paper is acid-free and resistant to ageing.

Working on Figueras paper

Thanks to its linen texture, the pad suits colour studies, sketches and small paintings that you can later transfer to canvas. With oil paints, first apply lean, thinned layers and then work over them with fatter, impasto paint. Acrylic works from thin glazes to impasto. The texture also takes oil pastels well.

For the studio and outdoors

The 10-sheet pad is light and compact. It fits easily into a bag for plein-air painting and keeps your studies together as a collection in the studio.
