The Contour Pencil from Kryolan, also known as a Dermatograph, is a contour pencil with a soft, creamy texture and strong colour. You can use it to draw precise lines on the eyes and lips or to add accents to the face and body, for example for stage make-up, carnival or Halloween. The gold shade suits shiny details and ornaments.

Working with the pencil

Warm the tip briefly between your fingers before applying. The pencil then glides more smoothly and the line is more even. For sharp lines, start with the tip; for soft transitions, blend the line afterwards with a small brush. Soft pencils break more easily when sharpened if they are warm, so it is best to sharpen it when it is at room temperature.

Kryolan offers the Contour Pencil in many other shades, so you can combine gold with black or white, for example, for graphic patterns.
