Kryolan Dermatograph Black 971 – contour pencil for face and body

The Kryolan Dermatograph contour pencil in black (971) is used to contour face and body and to define lines. According to Kryolan, it has a soft-blending, richly pigmented and long-lasting texture. This means you can blend contours gently and create soft transitions.

At 17.5 cm long, the pencil sits comfortably in the hand and can also be guided along longer lines. The pencil is also available in white (970). Black gives strong accents and contours, whereas white is suited to highlighting.

How to apply the pencil

Warm the lead briefly between your fingers before applying. This makes the texture smoother, and you apply more evenly and precisely. First draw the contour in one stroke. If you want it softer, gently blend the edges afterwards with your finger or a brush. For a contour on the face, it is best to work in short strokes and to start sparingly, as dark colour can be built up but is difficult to remove.
