The Eberhard Faber Halloween Devil/Dracula face paint set (art. no. 579028) is a set for painting spooky Halloween masks. It contains four colours in white, red, silver and black, a face painting brush and instructions. According to the manufacturer, the paints dry quickly, are particularly smudge-proof and are enough for up to 40 masks.

White gives you a pale base for ghosts or skulls. Red suits blood, bite marks and scars. Black adds shadows, dark circles around the eyes and outlines, and silver gives the face a metallic accent. The paints wash off easily with soap and water. According to Eberhard Faber, they are dermatologically tested and manufactured in accordance with the EU Cosmetics Directive.

Applying the face paint

The paints are applied wet: dampen the brush lightly, pick up some paint and apply it to clean, dry skin. The colours can be mixed with one another and thinned with water, which also gives you in-between shades and soft gradients. Step-by-step instructions are included.

• First apply the large areas with white or red and leave to dry slightly.
• Then add details such as outlines, dark circles around the eyes or scars with black and red.
• Apply silver last as an accent so that it does not run into the other colours.

Removing the face paint

You can easily wash the paints off again with soap and water. As they are particularly smudge-proof according to the manufacturer, use a little soap and avoid rubbing hard.
