The Clairefontaine exercise book in 24 × 32 cm format is a school exercise book with 48 sheets (96 pages), squared 5 × 5 mm and without a margin. It is slightly larger than an A4 exercise book, so you can stick in handed-out worksheets without trimming them, and nothing sticks out over the edge.

The paper weighs 90 g/m². That is sturdier than ordinary copier paper, and writing shows through to the reverse less. The 5 mm squares suit maths, science and other subjects in which you want to line up numbers, tables or sketches neatly.

Making use of the larger format

Because the exercise book is larger than A4, a narrow strip is left free all round, and an A4 sheet can be stuck in without cutting. As the exercise book has no margin, you can use the whole page for calculations, tables and drawings.
