The STAEDTLER 77N R52 replacement eraser replaces the worn eraser in the Mars micro 775 and Mars graphite 779 mechanical pencils. According to the manufacturer, it is PVC- and latex-free and made in Germany. One case contains 6 erasers, so you have a supply for several changes.

At Ø 5.2 mm and 10 mm long, the white eraser is slim. It is suited to precise erasing on paper, for example fine lines or individual strokes in technical drawings.

Changing the eraser

Pull the cap off the mechanical pencil and take out the used eraser. Then push the new replacement eraser into the holder until it sits firmly. Replace it as soon as it becomes hard or only smudges lines instead of removing them cleanly. A worn eraser can roughen the paper.
