Prym Fur Hooks and Eyes in Black – discreet sew-on fasteners

The Prym fur hooks and eyes (art. no. 261453) are sew-on hook-and-eye fasteners for fur and faux fur. They are covered with polyester thread and barely show in the fur. The hook and the eye are each approx. 25 mm long. You simply sew them into the garment through the side loops.

The pack contains 3 pieces in black. For lighter fur, the fasteners are also available in this range in beige and brown. For larger quantities, Prym also offers bulk packs.

Sewing on the fasteners

Place the hook on one edge and the eye exactly opposite on the other, so that the two meet squarely when closed. Mark the positions beforehand with pins and close the jacket to check. Sew the hook and eye firmly in place through the side loops with strong thread, ideally through several layers of fabric or lining, so that the strain does not rest on the fur alone. Brush the hairs aside as you sew so that the thread does not show in the fur.
