Prym Jersey Press Studs 10 mm Silver-Coloured, 20 Pieces

Prym Jersey Press Studs 10 mm – No-Sew for Thin, Stretchy Fabrics

The Prym jersey press studs with a smooth cap in silver (art. no. 390104) are made for thin, stretchy fabrics, such as those often used for baby and children's clothing. The pack contains 20 pieces, Ø 10 mm, and is a refill pack without a tool.

The integrated prong ring only pushes the fabric aside instead of punching a hole. You therefore do not need to pre-punch, and the fabric is treated gently. The press studs have a light closing force and are rustproof. Washing, spinning, dry cleaning, ironing and mangling are possible according to Prym.

Attaching the press studs

Mark the position of the studs on the fabric and fit the parts from both sides of the fabric. Press them together with the VARIO Creative Tool or VARIO pliers. Alternatively, you can hammer them in using a tripod and hammer. As the prong ring only pushes the fabric aside, no hole is made. Test on a scrap of fabric first, so you can see whether the stud sits securely and closes well.

Which fabrics are they suitable for?

Because of their light closing force, the jersey press studs are suitable for thin, stretchy fabrics, for example jersey. The pack does not contain a tool. If you already have one from Prym, this pack simply gives you more studs.
