Prym Love jersey press studs – sew-free for thin, stretchy fabrics

You attach the Prym Love sew-free press studs for jersey (art. no. 390700) without sewing to thin, stretchy fabrics such as jersey, for example on baby and children's clothing. The pack contains 21 press studs, 8 mm in diameter, in pink, light blue and pearl. A tool for fitting them is included, so you do not need separate pliers. No pre-punching is needed.

The colour combination is fixed. This lets you fasten several items in matching pastel shades, such as bodysuits, T-shirts or hats.

Fitting the press studs

The short instructions on the back of the pack show you the individual steps using the tool provided. As the press studs do not need pre-punching, you press them straight through the fabric. Mark the position carefully beforehand, because a press stud that has been fitted cannot be removed cleanly. Try fitting one on an offcut of the same jersey first, so you can see whether the stud holds firmly.

The press studs are intended for thin, stretchy fabrics. They are not designed for thick, stiff materials.
