Prym temporary fabric spray – hold fabric in place without pins

The Prym spray adhesive (art. no. 968060) is a fixing spray for temporarily tacking fabric, for example in sewing, patchwork and quilting. The spray can contains 250 ml.

The spray is colourless or transparent, odourless and acid-free. It holds layers of fabric together without piercing them with pins. According to Prym, the adhesive is fully washable, so no residue is left in the fabric after washing.

Fixing fabric with the spray

Spray a thin layer onto one of the two surfaces, preferably the wrong side of the fabric, then lay the layers smoothly on top of each other. Smooth them from the centre outwards so that no creases are stuck in. A thin application is enough; too much spray makes the fabric needlessly sticky. Test the spray first on an offcut of your fabric, especially with delicate or light-coloured fabrics.

Before spraying

The spray mist spreads across the work surface. Cover your work surface first, for example with newspaper. Spray only in well-ventilated rooms and keep the can away from flames, ignition sources and heat. The instructions on the can are in German, English and French.
