Prym iron-on transfer pen, purple – transfer embroidery designs to fabric with an iron

With the Prym iron-on transfer pen (art. no. 611610) you transfer embroidery designs to fabric. The bold purple fibre tip draws the motif onto tracing paper first, and you then iron it onto the fabric. The pen is suitable for all natural fibres, synthetic fabrics, mixed fabrics and silk.

The marking is permanent and cannot be washed out. You will therefore need to embroider over the transferred lines later. Never draw directly on the fabric with the pen.

How to transfer an embroidery design

Trace the motif onto tracing paper with the pen. So that the motif does not end up mirrored on the fabric, turn the paper over and go over the lines clearly on the reverse. Place the paper on the fabric with the drawn side facing down and iron the design on. Set the iron to the correct temperature for the fabric in question.

Points to note when embroidering

The purple lines cannot be washed out. Plan from the outset to embroider over all the transferred lines with embroidery thread.
