Sewing in the zip

Measure the opening length of your garment beforehand and choose the matching length. Fix the tape with pins or clips before sewing it in with a zipper foot. When sewing along plastic teeth, stitch close to the teeth without letting the needle hit them. Do not iron directly on the plastic teeth, as they can warp when heated.

What a two-way zip is useful for
