Städter Round Cake Board 32 cm, Aluminium

Städter round cake board, Ø 32 cm – lightweight aluminium board for decorating and moving cakes

The Städter cake board is a round aluminium disc with a diameter of 32 cm. You place a cake or gateau on it, decorate it, and later lift it, board and all, from the worktop onto the cake plate.

Aluminium is light, so the board stays easy to handle when you carry it. The surface is matt. Städter also offers it as a cake lifter.

Using the cake board

Place the finished cake or gateau straight on the board and decorate it there, for example with cream, icing or other decorations. That way you do not have to touch the finished cake again: to serve, slide the board with the cake onto the cake plate. Choose a board that is slightly larger than the cake. This leaves a narrow rim all the way round to hold, without touching the decoration.

Cleaning

Städter recommends cleaning the board with mild detergent, hot water and a kitchen brush. It is not dishwasher safe.
