You use the Kesper beechwood barbecue tongs for turning and serving grilled food such as steaks, vegetables or fish fillets. The tongs are self-opening: the arms spring apart on their own, so you simply squeeze them together to grip and there is no spring or hinge to operate. The beechwood is FSC-certified. The smooth wooden surface sits comfortably in the hand.

The tongs can also be used as pickle tongs, for example at a salad buffet or when serving side dishes.

Which length?

The tongs come in two lengths, which you choose from the options. The shorter one, at 32 cm, suits smaller barbecues. The longer one, at 40 cm, keeps your hand further from the embers on larger grilling surfaces.

Use and care

Wood conducts heat poorly, so the handle stays more comfortable than on metal tongs. Even so, do not place them on the hot grill rack or in the embers, as the wood can char there. Wash the tongs in warm water after grilling, let them dry thoroughly and do not leave them soaking in water, so the wood does not swell or crack.
