Efco gold decorative wax strips – glossy accents for your candles

Efco decorative wax strips are round, glossy gold wax strips for decorating candles: for lines, borders, ornaments or lettering. The wax is pliable and sticks well to the candle surface. Each strip is 200 mm long, so you can join strips for larger designs or divide them into small pieces.

The strips are available in widths of 1 mm, 2 mm and 3 mm. Choose the width from the options. As these are fine wax strips, slight dents or scratches are normal.

How to decorate a candle

Wax strips are easy to work with at room temperature, provided the candle is clean and free from grease.

• Cut the strip to the length you want, using a sharp knife if needed.
• Gently press it onto the candle surface with your fingers and guide it along the line.
• Cut the ends cleanly and press them down lightly so they do not stick out.
• For curves, bend the strip slowly rather than kinking it sharply.

Which width to choose

The 1 mm strips suit fine lines, outlines and delicate ornaments. With 2 mm and 3 mm you can create bolder accents, borders or lettering. Do not place the decoration directly at the top edge of the candle, so that it does not get too close to the flame.
