Efco Wax Colour Pellets – Pigments for Colouring CandleGelee

Efco wax colour pellets are pigment pellets for colouring CandleGelee (gel wax) in home-made candles. You add them to the melted gel, and 15–20 pellets colour 100 g of liquid CandleGelee. Choose your colour from the options.

The pellets can be counted out. This lets you plan the amount of colour according to the amount of gel and mix the same shade again when making several candles.

How to colour CandleGelee

Melt the CandleGelee in a water bath and add the pellets to the liquid gel. Stir until they are evenly distributed. Do not heat the coloured mixture any more than necessary: if the colour is overheated, the wax and the pigments separate.

How many pellets do you need?

The dosage depends on the amount of gel: 15–20 pellets colour 100 g of liquid CandleGelee. Weigh the gel before melting it. For 200 g, allow 30–40 pellets accordingly. If you want to reproduce a shade reliably, make a note of the quantity per 100 g.
