Rayher decorative wax motif Fish, bluish, 8.5 × 5 cm

Rayher Fish Wax Motif, Bluish – Decorative Wax for Communion Candles

The Rayher Fish wax motif (art. no. 31611405) is a bluish decorative wax motif for decorating candles, for example a communion candle. The fish is an ancient Christian symbol and so suits a communion, confirmation or christening. The motif measures 8.5 × 5 cm, so it covers plenty of surface on a candle of medium diameter, and you can combine it with other motifs if you wish.

Decorative wax is pressed onto unvarnished candles with the warmth of your hands and, according to Rayher, also sticks to plastic or glass. You need neither glue nor tools.

Applying the motif

The candle should be clean, dry and unvarnished. Warm the motif briefly between your fingers so that it becomes pliable and does not break. Then place it in the position you want and press it down firmly, first in the centre and then towards the edges. Finally, press the edges down carefully once more so that nothing comes loose. Do not place the motif right at the top edge of the candle, so that it does not reach the flame as the candle burns down.
