Victorinox Climber Pocket Knife 1.3703, red, 14 functions

Victorinox Climber – medium Swiss Army knife with 14 functions, scissors and multipurpose hook

The Victorinox Climber (art. no. 1.3703) is a medium-sized Swiss Army knife in red with 14 functions, including scissors and a multipurpose hook. At 91 mm long and 82 g, it is compact and light. You can use it in the kitchen, workshop, trades and leisure, for example for cutting, screwing, opening bottles or stripping wire.

The scales are made of ABS/Cellidor. The knife is made in Switzerland, and Victorinox gives a lifetime guarantee. In addition to the blades, scissors and a multipurpose hook are built in. With the scissors you can cut thread, paper or packaging without using the blade. The hook helps you lift bags or string.

Tools on the Climber

According to Victorinox, the knife includes these tools:

• large and small blade
• scissors
• multipurpose hook
• corkscrew
• reamer (punch, awl and sewing awl)
• tin opener with 3 mm screwdriver
• bottle opener with 6 mm screwdriver
• wire stripper
• tweezers and toothpick
• key ring

Using it safely

The blade cannot be locked and cannot be opened with one hand. It can therefore fold shut while you work if pressure is applied to the back of the blade. Always cut away from your body and keep your fingers out of the line of the cut. When using the corkscrew or bottle opener, put the bottle down rather than holding it in your hand. The screwdrivers are intended for small screws around the home and workshop. You should not use them for levering, as the tip may be damaged.
