Victorinox Hunter XTM Grip Pocket Knife, 6 Functions

Victorinox Hunter XTM Grip – large pocket knife with gutting blade and 6 functions

The Victorinox Hunter XTM Grip (also listed as the Hunter XT Grip) is a large pocket knife with 6 functions for hunting, outdoor use and leisure. The large blade opens one-handed via the oval thumb hole and locks in place. The additional gutting blade has a rounded tip and is intended for dressing game.

The scales are made of two components (polyamide) and stay secure in the hand, even when your hands are wet or dirty. At 150 g and 111 mm long, the knife is compact but clearly larger than a standard pocket knife. The knife is made in Switzerland.

Which tool for which job

The large blade handles general cutting jobs, such as shortening cord, opening packaging or slicing food. The gutting blade with its rounded tip is intended for dressing game, and the wood saw for branches and small woodworking jobs at camp or in the workshop. The corkscrew opens wine bottles, and the key ring and lanyard let you secure the knife.

Safe handling and care

Before cutting, check that the large blade has locked in place. To close it, release the lock and guide the blade back in a controlled way, keeping your fingers away from the edge. After use, especially after working with meat or resin, clean the blades with warm water and dry them thoroughly.
