Rayher Unicorn Mould – cast a 3D Unicorn in Concrete or Raysin

With the Rayher solid mould unicorn (art. no. 34436000), you can cast a three-dimensional unicorn in creative concrete or Raysin casting powder. The flexible mould measures approx. 8 × 11 cm with a height of approx. 12 cm. After careful cleaning, you can use it again and again. Craft instructions are included.

The cast unicorn is intended as a decoration or a small gift. Once hardened, you can paint it with matt or gloss acrylic paint. According to Rayher, the mould is elastic and dimensionally stable, and frost- and heat-resistant from −15 °C to 60 °C.

Casting the unicorn

Hang the mould in a container of water with the opening facing up, so that it stands securely while you fill it. Mix the casting compound according to the instructions on the pack, pour it in and leave it to harden thoroughly before demoulding. Rayher recommends the mould holder art. no. 34217000 to make pouring easier. The amount depends on the compound: allow approx. 200–280 g of Raysin or approx. 300–400 g of creative concrete.

After casting

Clean the mould carefully after each use, and you can reuse it as often as you like. Paint the hardened unicorn with acrylic paint. Once you have cast concrete, Raysin or soap in a mould, do not use it for food afterwards.
