Rayher silicone mould, ribbed bowl – flexible and easy to demould

The ribbed bowl silicone mould from Rayher (art. no. 36155000) makes bowls with a grooved texture from creative concrete, Raysin and casting resin. The mould has a diameter of 11 cm and is 6.5 cm high.

According to Rayher, the silicone is extremely flexible and retains its shape. Because it stretches, you can easily release the hardened piece from the mould, and the grooves stay intact. You do not need a release agent such as oil. The mould is frost- and heat-resistant from -40 °C to 240 °C and can be used again and again.

Casting the bowl

Rinse the mould with water before first use. Mix the casting compound according to the instructions on the pack and pour it slowly into the mould so that as little air as possible is trapped. Let the compound harden completely before you stretch the mould at the sides and push the bowl out. As a guide, Rayher states approx. 400 g of creative concrete or approx. 300 g of Raysin 200 per bowl.

Cleaning and note

After demoulding, clean the mould with water and a little washing-up liquid to keep it in shape. The mould is intended for casting compounds such as concrete, Raysin and casting resin. Once you have used a mould for these, do not use it for food again.
