Rayher Square Coaster Mould – Flat Silicone Mould for Raysin, Concrete and Casting Resin

The Rayher silicone mould for a square coaster makes flat, square coasters measuring 10 × 10 cm with a height of 1.5 cm. You can fill it with Raysin, creative concrete or casting resin.

The silicone is soft and flexible. This means you can easily release the hardened casting from the mould without it catching. The mould keeps its shape and can be used again and again, so you can cast several identical coasters, for example as a set.

Casting the coaster

Place the mould on a level, firm surface so that the coaster has an even thickness. To fill it you will need about 170 g of Raysin casting powder 200 or about 200 g of creative concrete; this helps you with weighing out. Mix casting resin according to the instructions for the resin. Allow the material to harden completely, then gently stretch the silicone at the edges and push the coaster out from underneath.

Caring for the mould

After demoulding, clean the silicone mould with water and, if necessary, a little washing-up liquid. This keeps the surface clean for the next casting.
