Natural Cotton Pot Holder 17 x 17 cm for Painting

Natural Cotton Pot Holder – for Painting and Personalising

The natural pot holder is made of 100 % cotton, measures 17 × 17 cm and is meant for decorating yourself. You can paint the pale surface with your own motifs, slogans or patterns. The result is a kitchen helper that you have designed yourself.

The cotton pot holder, at 105 g/m², protects your hand from heat. Its size sits comfortably in the hand and leaves enough room for a motif.

Decorating your pot holder

Start by sketching your motif lightly in pencil on the cotton fabric. Then apply the paint in thin layers so that it does not run, and let each layer dry. Whether the paint needs to be fixed and whether it is washable and heat-resistant depends on the fabric paint you use. Check the paint manufacturer's instructions.

As a gift

A hand-painted pot holder makes a personal gift, for example for Mother's Day. In group craft sessions, everyone can decorate their pot holder differently. Painted areas should not come into direct contact with food.
