Pebaro conker craft set – clamp, drill and make conker figures

The Pebaro conker craft set with holder is a tool set for turning conkers into autumn figures. You clamp the conker in the holder so that it cannot slip while you drill. Use the two gimlets (2 mm and 3 mm) to drill holes for arms and legs, then push the cocktail sticks supplied into the holes.

Instructions for use are included in the box. With 190 cocktail sticks, you can make plenty of figures.

Making a conker figure

Clamp a conker in the holder and use a gimlet to drill holes for the arms and legs. Then push one cocktail stick into each hole. Test on one conker whether the 2 mm or the 3 mm gimlet fits better: the cocktail stick should sit firmly without splitting the shell. Fresh conkers are easier to drill than dried-out ones.

Working safely

The gimlets are sharp. Only drill when the conker is held firmly in the holder, and never put your hand in the line of the drill. Children should only work under adult supervision.
