Diamond ART Diamond Painting Kit 40 × 30 cm, Lion

Diamond Painting Kit Lion – make your own sparkling picture

The Diamond Painting kit Lion is a craft kit for a sparkling picture measuring 40 × 30 cm. Following the instructions, you place small gems (diamonds) one by one on a pre-printed sheet until the lion motif sparkles all over.

The kit contains the sheet, instructions, plastic tray, pick-up pen and gems. You will find the colour numbers on the key and on the individual bags, so you can match each gem colour to the right place on the sheet. The plastic tray holds the gems you are currently working with. You will need to buy a frame separately, as it is not included in the kit.

How to make it

The picture is made in a few clearly separate steps:

• Carefully peel back the protective film, only where you want to start.
• Put a little wax on the pick-up pen and use it to pick up the gems one at a time.
• Place each gem in the matching spot on the sheet; you will find the colour number on the key or the bag.
• After the last gem, lay the protective film over the whole picture and weigh it down with a heavy object for 30 minutes so the gems stick well.
• Frame the finished picture as you like.

Tips for a neat picture

Because you only peel off the protective film where you are working, the adhesive surface stays clean for longer. Always cover the exposed area again when you take a break, otherwise dust and loose gems will stick to it. It is best to open only one bag at a time so the colours do not get mixed up. Keep the gems you are working with in the plastic tray.
