Fridolin 3D Paper Model Colourful Butterfly – Cardboard Kit

Fridolin 3D Paper Model Colourful Butterfly – Kit of Laser-Cut Cardboard Parts

The Colourful Butterfly 3D paper model by Fridolin is a kit in which you assemble a butterfly from precisely laser-cut cardboard parts. Once built, it measures approx. 14.5 × 4.5 × 8 cm and works as a decorative piece or collector's item. The model belongs to Fridolin's Natural Museum Collection, so you can build up a collection over time.

Building it takes concentration, patience and nimble fingers. The assembly instructions are included in the pack. The model is recommended for ages 8 and up.

Building the model

Read through the assembly instructions in full first, then release the parts from the cardboard one at a time so they don't get mixed up. The model is assembled from individual parts and can be fixed together with glue. Apply the glue sparingly, as too much moisture can make thin cardboard warp. Work step by step and hold the parts in place briefly until the glue has grabbed.

Who is the model for?

The kit suits anyone who enjoys precise crafting and would like a finished piece to display. Fridolin recommends it for ages 8 and up. Together with other models from the Natural Museum Collection, it can grow into a small collection.
