Fridolin 3D paper model eagle – cardboard kit for a decorative object
The Fridolin 3D paper model eagle is a kit of laser-cut card parts that you assemble into a free-standing eagle. Built, it measures approx. 9 × 10 × 14.5 cm (W × H × D) and makes a decorative object for a shelf or windowsill.
The parts are precisely laser-cut from special card. Building it calls for concentration, patience and nimble fingers. The model belongs to Fridolin's Natural Museum Collection, a line of animal kits, so a small collection can grow over time. Fridolin recommends the model for ages 8 and up.
Building the eagle
The box contains the parts, an illustration and the assembly instructions. Work through the steps of the instructions in order and only press the parts out of the card when you need them. That way you keep track of everything. According to Fridolin, the model can be fixed together firmly with glue. The glue is not included. Apply it sparingly and in small dabs so that the card does not soften and no glue residue shows.
Who is the model for?
The model is for anyone who enjoys patiently putting small parts together. With its age recommendation of 8 and up, it is suitable for children from that age, teenagers and adults. Because of the small parts, younger children should not handle it. Once built, the eagle stands as a decoration on its own or alongside other animal models in the series.
