The Fridolin 3D paper model owl is a push-fit kit: the laser-cut cardboard parts gradually come together to form a small owl that you can then display as a decorative piece. The model belongs to Fridolin's Natural Museum Collection. Once assembled, it measures approx. 6 × 12.5 × 5.5 cm (W/H/D).

Building it takes concentration, patience and nimble fingers. A picture and the assembly instructions are included in the pack. The kit is recommended from 8 years.

Building the owl

The parts are laser-cut from cardboard and are slotted together following the assembly instructions. Lay out all the parts before you start and first fit them together without glue. That way you can see how they interlock. If you would like to fix the owl permanently, it can be glued; you will need glue separately for this.

Who is the model for?

The kit is for anyone who enjoys precise tinkering and would like a finished model to put on display. Other animals from the range can be displayed alongside it, so a small collection can gradually build up.
