Craft paper and construction paper for cards and window art

Craft paper in colors, weights and sizes

Craft paper is the basis of many projects at school, in kindergarten and at home. In this category, you'll find colored construction paper and sturdy cardstock, plus folding, translucent and patterned paper in various sizes, weights and designs. It covers everything from simple folding projects to sturdy cards and glowing window art.

Which paper suits your project

The weight in g/m² tells you how sturdy the paper is: the higher the number, the stiffer the sheet. Lightweight sheets fold easily and work well for origami and folded stars. Use construction paper for cutting and gluing, and cardstock for sturdy projects like cards, masks or stand-up displays. Translucent sheets let light through and make window art and lanterns glow. For clean edges on cards, score the fold line first with a bone folder along a ruler and fold parallel to the grain wherever possible.

• Construction paper in bold and pastel colors
• Cardstock in various weights
• Folding paper for origami and folded stars
• Translucent paper for window art and lanterns
• Patterned paper with seasonal designs, also for scrapbooking

Tip: Glue thin sheets with a glue stick rather than liquid glue so they don't wrinkle.
