Wool felt craft kit Suze Pig – make a pig with apron and chef's hat

With the Suze Pig wool felt craft kit from Hardicraft, you sew a felt pig wearing an apron and a chef's hat. Fresh leek peeks out of her pocket. The finished figure is about 23 cm tall and works as a decoration for the kitchen or a shelf, or as a handmade gift.

The kit contains everything you need for the figure: wool felt in pink, cream and green, sewing thread in white and pink, buttons, 6 mm safety eyes, toy stuffing and step-by-step instructions. The instructions are included in German, English, French and Dutch.

Sewing the pig

Read the instructions through first and sort the felt pieces by colour. Attach the safety eyes before you stuff the figure, as you can no longer reach them from the inside afterwards. Try out their position with pins beforehand so the face looks right. Add the toy stuffing in small portions and shape it as you go: this keeps the body even and stops the seams pulling in places. Finally, use the buttons to add details, for example on the apron.
