Collall Jigsaw Puzzle Glue – Glue and Varnish for Fixing Finished Puzzles

Collall Puzzle Glue is a medium-viscosity glue and varnish for fixing completed jigsaw and wooden puzzles. It is water-based, with acrylic as the main ingredient. It looks yellowish when applied, then dries clear and leaves a silky sheen. The dried layer is water-resistant.

Apply it in a thin layer with a soft brush or a varnish roller. Once dry, you can display the puzzle standing up or hang it. According to Collall, the glue dries quickly, so you do not have to leave your puzzle lying for long.

Fixing your puzzle

Place the finished puzzle on a flat, smooth surface that does not absorb the glue, and make sure the pieces sit flush. Apply the glue over the whole surface in a thin layer with a soft brush or varnish roller and leave it to dry thoroughly. A thin layer dries more evenly than a thick one, in which glue collects in the joins. You can then stand up or hang the puzzle.

Quantity and cleaning

According to Collall, consumption is approx. 125 g per m², depending on absorbency. A bottle with 105 g of contents therefore covers roughly 0.8 m². It is best to clean your tools while the glue is still wet. Soak dried-on residue in warm water and remove it with a brush. Fresh stains can be removed with warm water. Leave the cleaned brush to dry lying flat.
