Royal Talens Rubbercement 50 ml tube for graphic artists & designers

Royal Talens Rubbercement – transparent rubber cement for temporary bonding

Royal Talens Rubbercement is a quick-drying adhesive for temporary bonds. Royal Talens developed it specially for graphic artists, designers and technical draughtsmen, for example for mounting and pasting down artwork that you want to remove again later.

The cement dries completely transparent, is acid-free and is waterproof once dry. Once it has dried, you simply rub any residue away with your finger. This keeps your work clean, and you do not need any solvent for cleaning up afterwards.

Using the Rubbercement

Apply a thin layer to both surfaces and leave it to dry until tacky. Then press the surfaces together. Because the cement dries transparent, it is hardly visible on light paper or card. If you separate the piece later, rub off any leftover cement with your finger.

What the cement is not intended for

Rubbercement is made for temporary bonds. According to Royal Talens, it is not suitable for permanent bonding or for sticking down photos. For work that needs to hold permanently, it is better to use a different adhesive.
