This bead mix from Creativ Company (CC Hobby) contains approx. 200 colourful beads in animal and flower shapes for bracelets, necklaces, key rings and decorations. Each bead has a diameter of 10 mm and a 1.5 mm hole. The beads are made of plastic and assorted in different shapes and colours, so you can try out plenty of combinations without buying anything else.

The mix suits craft groups, lessons or trying out your own designs. With an assorted mix, you will not get identical beads in any quantity you like. So plan designs that work with the variety available, for example alternating motifs rather than a fixed repeat.

Threading the beads

The 1.5 mm hole is narrow. Choose a thin thread, such as nylon thread or fine elastic, or jewellery wire. Thick cords will not fit through. A stiffened thread end or a beading needle makes threading easier. Before threading, lay the beads out on a cloth in the order you want: you can then see the colour distribution and motifs and still change the design before knotting.
