Efco end caps ø 6 mm – finishing for leather cords and jewellery ribbons

The Efco end caps with extender chain neatly finish the ends of leather cords, twisted cords and other jewellery ribbons. You glue them onto the cord ends with a little jewellery glue, turning a cord into a necklace or bracelet with a fastening attachment. The cap has a diameter of 6 mm. The pack contains 1 piece.

The end caps are also available in ø 8 mm. Before buying, measure the diameter of your cord: it must fit into the cap.

Attaching the end cap

Cut the end of the cord straight so that it sits flat in the cap. Apply only a little jewellery glue to the end of the cord, slide the cap on and let the glue dry completely before putting any strain on the piece. Too much glue oozes out at the edge and can stain the cord. Test beforehand whether your cord fits into the cap, and shorten or thin it if necessary.
