Rayher E27 Lamp Holder in White – 1.8 m Cable with Switch for DIY Pendant Lamps
The Rayher E27 lamp holder (art. no. 23099102) in white is the cable set for homemade pendant lamps: 1.8 m of cable, a holder with screw ring and an integrated switch. Combine it with a lampshade, a wooden slat lamp or lampshade film and build a pendant light like no other.
The integrated switch sits in the cable, so you can switch the lamp on and off without touching the shade. With a length of 180 cm, you can plan the hanging height above a table, sofa or bed with ease. The holder is designed for E27 bulbs and takes incandescent bulbs up to max. 60 W. Assembly instructions are included. The lamp holder is also available in black.
What to consider when planning
Before you build the shade and the suspension, decide on the bulb and the cable route. That way everything fits together in the end.
- Choose a bulb with an E27 base and no more than 60 W; this figure applies to incandescent bulbs.
- Allow for the length of 180 cm: it determines how high you can hang the lamp and how far the switch sits from the shade.
- The screw ring holds the shade or slat structure on the holder. Before cutting, decide how your shade will be attached to it.
- Connection to the mains must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
