Kreul JAVANA three-point pins – stretching fabric for silk painting and batik

Kreul JAVANA three-point pins (art. no. 810100) hold silk or cotton fabric on a wooden frame, so you can work on taut fabric for silk painting and batik. The pins are round and have three small points that grip the fabric.

The pack contains 100 pins and a removal tool, which you can use to lift the pins out easily after painting.

Stretching the fabric

Lay the fabric on the wooden frame and press the pins through the fabric into the wood all the way round. The three points hold the fabric in place without any sewing or gluing. Start with one corner, then place a pin at the opposite corner, followed by the sides in between. This stretches the fabric evenly and without creases. With 100 pins, you can also fit larger frames with the pins close together. Once the paint has dried, remove the pins with the removal tool so that you do not hurt yourself on the points or tear the fabric.
