Meyco Needle File Set, 3-Piece Metal Key Files

Meyco 3-Piece Needle File Set – Flat, Round and Pointed File

The Meyco needle file set contains three small metal files: a flat file, a round file and a pointed file. You can use them to work metal and other hard materials on a small scale, for example when deburring, smoothing edges or finishing craft parts.

With a total length of approx. 16 cm (file 10 cm, handle 5.5 cm), the files are easy to control and fit into any tool drawer.

Which file for which job?

Use the flat file for straight surfaces and edges. The round file works curved inner edges and enlarges small holes. The tapered file reaches into corners and narrow spots the others cannot get to.

How to file cleanly

Clamp the workpiece firmly so that it cannot slip. Files only cut on the forward stroke: push the file forwards and lift it slightly as you pull it back. Work with even, moderate pressure and brush away the filings from time to time so that the file does not clog and leave scratches.
