Rayher wet floral foam ring 20 cm – floral foam for fresh flower arrangements

The Rayher wet floral foam ring (art. no. 30205000) is a green floral foam ring, 20 cm in diameter, in which you arrange fresh flowers for table wreaths and arrangements. According to Rayher, the wet foam absorbs a great deal of water and releases it again, so the flowers are supplied through their stems. The ring sits on a plastic base.

At 4.2 cm thick, the ring holds sturdy stems securely but is flat enough for table decorations.

Soaking the floral foam correctly

Lay the ring gently on the surface of the water so that it floats, and let it draw up water by itself. Submerging it or pouring water over it is wrong, because the air cannot escape and the core stays dry. It then cannot act as a water reservoir. Rayher gives approx. 18 °C as the water temperature with the highest absorbency. Use a container large enough for soaking with fresh water.

Points to note when arranging

Cut the stems fresh and insert them straight into the right place. Every repositioning leaves a hole in the foam, where the stem then has less hold and gets less water.
